My Experience with Ganapati
For our experience with Ganapati, our Bappa rests on an ornate carved throne set against a shimmering golden backdrop. The tiered steps before him are adorned with rows of glowing brass and clay lamps, a copper kalash with a coconut, and plates of fresh modaks and floral offerings. Fragrant incense smoke rises softly around the altar as prayers are offered with folded hands. This is how we welcomed Bappa into our home with joy this year.
