My experience with ganpati
For our experience with Ganpati, we welcomed our Bappa to a bright altar set up inside our home. Our idol sits wearing a yellow pagri, decorated with garlands of marigolds, pink roses, and green durva grass, with a small Shiva lingam and Nandi at his side. We arranged a sacred copper kalash with green leaves and a coconut on one side, and placed offerings of bananas, rose petals, and coins on the yellow cloth below. Behind him, draped red fabric and strings of bells and hanging ornaments make the background cheerful. This is how we brought our prayers and joy together to celebrate Ganpati this year.
