My childhood Ganpati story
For my childhood Ganpati story, our Bappa rests on an ornate carved throne set between tall dark pillars under draped fabric. He wears bright pink and blue attire with layered flower garlands, an elaborate crown, and holds a golden mace. At his feet on the red cloth, we placed fresh fruits, coconuts, modaks, and a tall brass lamp with burning incense curling into the air. This is how we welcomed Bappa and celebrated together with full hearts.
