Ganpati Bappa puja our family tradition

For years, the hardest part of Ganesh Chaturthi wasn't welcoming Bappa in, but saying goodbye at Visarjan. Watching our clay idol dissolve in the river always felt like an annual heartbreak for our family. "Why does He have to leave every year?" my sister asked through tears last autumn. This year, our home feels entirely different. Instead of counting down the days until a farewell, we brought home a permanent, beautifully carved marble Ganpati Ji. As we lit the evening lamp, there were no tears—only peace. Bappa isn't a visitor anymore; He is finally here to stay, forever.
