Bappa chi murti ani arth

We were planning about booking baapa's murti, for placing it in college . There were different opinions from my batchmates , some said it should be iconic , like a hero from movie , someone else said like Naruto , a anime character , etc etc . That's when I remembered what my aaji had told me about bappa and bappa idol , murti , it teaches us many things . Big ears , small mouth , 4 hands , single tooth each has its own significance . There's no point in placing idols mimicking films or cartoons . It is said in ganapati atharvashirsh "ekdantam chaturhastam paasamankush dharanam " telling how baapa's murti should be .
