Here is the story of how we set up the altar for our Ganpati Bappa at home. Our Bappa is dressed with a bright yellow sash adorned with golden fringes, seated amidst fresh orange marigolds and green leaves. In front of him, we arranged plates of steamed modaks and golden laddoos, along with offerings of coconut, flowers, and betel leaves. Soft purple balloons decorate the space beside the altar to complete the celebration. This is how we welcomed Bappa this year.
