My favourite ganpati
This is my favourite Ganpati sitting in the shrine we prepared at our home. Our Bappa rests on a raised seat adorned with flower garlands, framed by sheer white curtains and a deep red backdrop with hanging golden ornaments. Tall brass lamps glow on either side of the altar alongside offerings of fruits and sweets. In the foreground, multiple oil lamps burn brightly on a decorated brass thali surrounded by puja items. This is how we welcomed Bappa into our home this year.
