Amcha baapa
This is our Amcha baapa, seated gracefully in deep blue velvet robes with shimmering golden borders. He wears a jewelled blue turban decorated with colourful flowers and pearls, and bright garlands of yellow marigolds and pink blossoms drape across his chest. In his hands he holds a modak and delicate pink lotus flowers, while a copper kalash and smoking incense sticks rest beside his little mouse companion on the platform. This is how we welcomed our Bappa this year.
