Amcha ladka ganu rests on a decorated wooden plank trimmed with silver lace and peacock designs. Our Bappa wears a pleated red turban and a colourful garland, shining brightly against the dark night. We dressed up for him in rich silk sarees of purple and pink, wearing traditional necklaces and nose ornaments. This is how we carried our beloved Bappa together with joy and smiles.
