Our Family Ganpati
Our Family Ganpati sits at the centre of our room on a wooden table draped in red and white cloth. Behind him, strings of orange and white flower garlands hang down, surrounded by green potted plants and glowing brass lamps. On the floor in front, we drew a large red and white circular pattern encircled by lit clay lamps and fresh blossoms. This is how we welcomed Bappa into our home this year.
