झाराप येथील नूतन गणेश मूर्ती कलाकार नाथा काळसेकर यांनी यंदा प्रथमच समुद्री कासवावर अरुण झालेलेल्या गणपती ची मूर्ती स्वतःच्या हाताने तयार केली आहे कोकण किनारपट्टीला आढळत असणारी ही समुद्री कासवे पर्यटक पुन्हा समुद्रात नेऊन सोडतात यामुळे पर्यावरणाचे संरक्षण होते असे या देखाव्यात नाथा काळसेकर यांनी दाखवून दिले आहे झाराप परिसरात ही कौतुकाचा विषय बनला आहे,
