Ganpati Celebration
For our Ganpati Celebration, our Bappa rests on a raised altar covered in bright pink cloth. We decorated the background with delicate hanging flowers and a soft curtain glowing with fairy lights. A slender brass lamp burns beside him, surrounded by offerings of coconuts, fruits, and a plate of sweets. Standing with folded hands in front of the shrine fills our home with quiet devotion. This is how we welcomed Bappa this year.
