my experience with Ganapati
This is our experience with Ganapati, welcomed into our wooden shrine. Our clay Bappa sits wearing a painted turban, draped in a light cloth and surrounded by warm string lights and green grass. Two tall brass lamps stand on either side, with bright yellow blossoms and a sweet laddu placed before him on small plates. This is how we welcomed Bappa into our home this year.
