My experience with ganpati
For our experience with Ganpati, our Bappa is seated inside our wooden home shrine beneath a green toran and peacock feathers. He wears a garland of bright yellow and red flowers, with fragrant incense smoke rising softly beside him. In front on the floor, little brass lamps shine beside bowls of haldi, kumkum, and fresh blossoms placed on a decorated stone. This quiet glow is how we welcomed Bappa into our home this year.
