Ganpati home welcoming
This is our experience of Ganeshotsav, welcoming Ganpati Bappa into our home by the balcony window. Our Bappa wears an orange dhoti, a draped white cloth, and a red and gold turban, seated before a yellow circular backdrop decorated with blue, red, and yellow flowers. On the red platform, we placed a brass kalash with a coconut, a brass oil lamp, fresh marigolds, and small offering bowls beside a little Shiva idol. This is how we welcomed Bappa and filled our home with warmth this year.
