Traditional Ganpati Festival
Families perform Prana Pratishta (invoking the deity's presence into the idol) and offer Lord Ganesha his favorite sweets, like homemade modaks. While public festivals always last 10 days, home celebrations are flexible. Families host Bappa for 1.5, 3, 5, or 7 days based on their unique ancestral traditions. Many now opt for eco-friendly home visarjan (immersion) inside a water bucket, later using the soil to water household plants.
