The Beginning of Chhava Mitra Mandal The story of Chhava Mitra Mandal began in the year 1996 With a common love for Ganpati Bappa, unity, friendship, and community, a few enthusiastic people came together with a simple yet beautiful thought to start a Ganesh Utsav Mandal that would bring people together and create a sense of togetherness in the community. With the efforts and support of a few founding members Jayant (Bala)Parab, Nitin Mestry, Ajay Dadu Sawan, Santosh Parab, Birbal ghutukde, and Swapnil Talgaonkar the foundation of the Mandal was laid.
