कोकण वाचवा – समृद्ध आणि स्वावलंबी कोकणाकडे ​कोकण हे केवळ निसर्गाचे अप्रतिम लेणे नसून आपली समृद्ध संस्कृती आणि परंपरेचा मूळ पाया आहे. परंतु, आज रोजगाराच्या व व्यवसायाच्या शोधात आपली तरुण पिढी मोठ्या प्रमाणावर शहरांकडे स्थलांतरित होत आहे. यामुळे कोकणातील मूळ गावे ओस पडू लागली आहेत आणि आपल्या समृद्ध निसर्गाचे तसेच संस्कृतीचे संवर्धन होण्याऐवजी त्याला उतरती कळा लागत आहे. ​'कोकण वाचवा' या देखाव्याच्या माध्यमातून आम्हाला हाच विचार मांडायचा आहे की, आपण शहरांवर अवलंबून न राहता कोकणातच स्थानिकांच्या मदतीने छोटे-मोठे उद्योग आणि व्यवसाय उभारले पाहिजेत. पर्यटन, प्रक्रिया उद्योग, स्थानिक कला आणि शेती यांसारख्या क्षेत्रांमध्ये स्वावलंबन निर्माण केले, तर येथेच रोजगाराच्या नवीन संधी निर्माण होतील. जेव्हा कोकणातील भूमिपुत्र स्वतःच्या मातीतच व्यावसायिक प्रगती साधतील, तेव्हाच कोकणाचा खरा आर्थिक विकास होईल. आपल्या संस्कृतीचे रक्षण करत, निसर्गाचा समतोल राखत, कोकणाला पुन्हा एकदा आर्थिक आणि सामाजिकदृष्ट्या वैभवशाली बनवणे हीच आपल्या सर्वांची खरी जबाबदारी आहे. ​Save Konkan – Towards a Prosperous and Self-Reliant Region ​Konkan is not just a land of breathtaking natural beauty, but the very foundation of our rich culture and heritage. However, due to the lack of local employment opportunities, a large portion of our youth is continuously migrating toward major cities. This growing shift is leading to the abandonment of our traditional villages and putting our unique environment and cultural roots at risk. ​Through our Ganpati Dekhava - 'Save Konkan', we aim to spread the message that true growth lies in self-development and local entrepreneurship. By starting small businesses, eco-tourism projects, and local enterprises right here in Konkan, we can generate substantial employment opportunities for our own people. Sustaining the local economy using the rich natural resources of Konkan will not only bring monetary prosperity to the region, but also ensure that our cultural identity and pristine nature remain vibrant and alive for generations to come.
