मोदक आणि दुर्वा का प्रिय आहेत
अनलासुर नावाच्या राक्षसाचा दाह शांत करण्यासाठी गणपती त्याला गिळून टाकले. त्यामुळे गणपतीच्या पोटात आग होऊ लागली. ती आग शांत करण्यासाठी ऋषीमुनींनी त्यांना २१ दुर्वांची जुडी वाहिली आणि खायला गोड मोदक दिले, ज्यामुळे बाप्पा शांत झाले.
