For us, Ganesh Chaturthi is not just a festival; it is an emotion, a tradition, and a celebration that our family and community have cherished for 27 beautiful years. Every year, we welcome Ganpati Bappa with the same devotion, the same excitement, and the same feeling of pride. One of the most special parts of our celebration is that we bring the same Dagdusheth-style murti every year. While the ideas and celebrations around Bappa may become more grand and unique, our Bappa remains the same — a symbol of our faith, tradition, and continuity. Every year, we try to add something new to make Bappa’s arrival even more memorable. Our Aagman is celebrated in a proper Pune Dagdusheth-style tradition. The atmosphere comes alive with the beats of Puneri dhol, as Bappa arrives majestically on a bail gadi. Along with the main murti, we also bring our smaller murti in a beautifully decorated ghoda gadi, creating a royal and traditional atmosphere. And what is a grand Aagman without lezim? We have a dedicated group performing lezim, filling the entire procession with energy and excitement. Along with the dhol and lezim, beautiful rangoli adds another traditional touch to the celebration, making every part of the Aagman feel carefully planned and special. For us, Bappa deserves to arrive like a Raja. During these beautiful days, we celebrate as if our King has come home. From the Aagman to the decorations, every detail reflects that feeling. Even our mandap is designed like a grand mahal, giving Bappa the royal atmosphere that we believe He deserves. But beyond the dhol, decorations, processions, and grandeur, these days are truly about being with Bappa. The happiness of waking up knowing Bappa is with us, the sound of celebrations around us, the evening aartis, and the feeling of togetherness make these days unforgettable.
