Ganpati at friends place 50th year
For the Ganpati at our friend's place for their 50th year, Bappa sits grandly inside a rustic thatched pavilion set against a painted twilight sky. Beside his carved throne stand figures of gentle cows, with small figures seated in front and another cheerful idol adorned with fresh flowers to the side. Warm hanging bulbs and glowing floral lights illuminate the entire setup, bordered by bright garlands and straw pillars. The table in front is spread with rich patterned fabrics and filled with plentiful offerings of fresh bananas, coconuts, and fruits. This is how we joined together to welcome Bappa and celebrate this special milestone.
