At our home, Ganpati Bappa is seated with bright yellow and orange marigold garlands draped around his neck. Behind him, a framed picture shows a figure in traditional attire beneath a red flag. Beaded strings and orange tassels hang down on both sides against a white backdrop. Green and red lights sparkle across the scene. This is how we welcomed Bappa this time.
