Patade Cha Bappa
For us, *Ganpati Bappa is not just a festival — it is our way of coming home. ❤️🙏* Our Bappa has been lovingly welcomed at our ancestral home in *Sangameshwar, Konkan*, since 1971. Every year, no matter how busy life gets or what comes our way, we make sure to travel back to our village for Ganpati. *Because for a Konkani manus, Ganpati in the village is an emotion.❤️* The moment we reach our village, the atmosphere feels completely different — the familiar home, the smell of the soil, the sound of aarti and the excitement of the entire family coming together. Every ritual is performed with love and devotion, just the way it has been passed down through generations. From bringing Bappa home, performing the traditional puja and aarti, preparing naivedya, to coming together as a family — every little ritual carries a piece of our heritage. What makes it even more special is that we are not just celebrating Ganpati; we are preserving a tradition that our family has carried for generations. I learned these traditions from my father, and today I feel proud to continue learning them and carrying them forward. *Mumbai may be where we live, but Konkan is where our Bappa calls us home. ❤️🌿* *Ganpati Bappa Morya! 🙏✨*
