दाभोळकरांचा विघ्नहर्ता- 27 yrs of dedication.

Our Ganesh Festival — A Journey of Faith What began in 1999, when I was just 9 years old, started with nothing more than a child’s deep devotion to Lord Ganesha. Seeing my dedication, my parents encouraged me to bring Ganpati Bappa home—and what began as a small act of faith slowly became a cherished family tradition. Over the years, family members and many others placed their navas—their heartfelt prayers and requests for blessings—before Bappa. With every prayer answered and every obstacle overcome, our faith in Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles, only grew stronger. 27 years later, the devotion of that nine-year-old has become a responsibility. I now take full responsibility for organising our family’s five-day Ganesh Festival. What started as a personal belief has grown into a celebration that brings family, friends and the community together—a responsibility I carry with gratitude and pride. This year, that journey takes us to Pandharpur, the sacred city of Lord Vitthal. Our installation brings together the spiritual landscape of Pandharpur and the Chandrabhaga Darshan, featuring important landmarks including the Pundalik Temple, Vishnupad Temple and the main entrance of the Vitthal Temple, the Namdev Payari. Through this year’s theme, we wanted to recreate not just individual temples, but the spiritual experience of Pandharpur itself—a journey of faith, devotion and darshan. From a nine-year-old’s faith to a 27-year-old tradition, from a small pooja to a festival, and from a personal belief to a responsibility—this is the story of our Ganpati Bappa. Ganpati Bappa Morya! 🙏🌺
