GANPATI BAPPA

Ganapati Bappa – A Short Story Once upon a time, Goddess Parvati created Lord Ganesha from sandalwood paste and gave him life. She asked him to guard the entrance while she was bathing. Lord Shiva returned home and wanted to enter, but Ganesha stopped him because he did not know him. A conflict arose, and Shiva became angry. Later, Shiva realized that Ganesha was Parvati’s beloved son. To make peace, Shiva gave Ganesha the head of an elephant and blessed him with wisdom and strength. Since then, Lord Ganesha has been worshipped as the God of Wisdom and New Beginnings. People pray to him before starting something important and lovingly say: “Ganapati Bappa Morya!” The story teaches us to respect our parents, follow our duties, and face challenges with courage and wisdom.
